OTSU's Menstrual Product Drive: Donate to the Period Bank!

We’re so excited to announce our upcoming Menstrual Product Drive! In collaboration with Ontario Tech Athletics, we’re partnering to invite our Ontario Tech community to come together to support the Period Project and help eliminate period poverty on campus.

This initiative aims to support the longevity of the Period Bank, an essential service that gives in-need students access to free menstrual products. Kits include enough pads or tampons for one cycle, or one Diva Cup per academic year.

How can you help? It's simple! Between February 10 and 14, drop off unopened, non-expired menstrual products at one of our donation locations around campus:

• CRWC lobby (near the FLEX entrance)
• OTSU Office (SHA 115)
• Peer Wellness Educators table on February 12 in Shawenjigewinging Hall

While all period products are welcomed and appreciated, pads are in particularly high demand as our student demographic uses them more frequently than tampons. Every donation counts, PLUS Ontario Tech Athletics will be matching all product donations! Essentially doubling what you give!

If you are unable to make it in person, monetary donations are also welcome to help replenish our stock. These donations will go directly into the Period Project fund, which helps us purchase more products and stock product dispensers around campus.
