Health Plan Opt Out Deadline (Winter Start Only)
If you're starting university in the winter semester, and you have alternative health insurance or don't feel like you need 24/7 access to online medical services, you have the option to opt out of your OTSU-provided health plan, and the myVirtualDoctor plan.
To opt out, fill out the forms on your health plan site at mystudentplan.ca by January 30. You need to opt out of both the health plan as well as myVirtualDoctor.
